Various shareholders have alerted Shee Atiká to a comment posted on one of the social media sites associated with the independent group that appears to threaten violence and physical harm to Shee Atiká’s Board (and perhaps others).  Such a threat of violence is disturbing at several levels, including that one of the leaders of the independent group followed up with her own posting that found the initial comment about violence and physical harm to be amusing.

Shee Atiká has a policy of zero tolerance when it comes to threats of violence and we are now pursuing the matter with the appropriate public safety agencies.

Threats of violence and physical harm have absolutely no place in our corporation, and Shee Atiká calls upon the leaders of the independent group to immediately and publicly disavow the initial posting as well as the follow on comment that found the initial posting about violence and physical harm to be amusing.
