The only web presence that Shee Atiká, Incorporated maintains is our official web page, sheeatika.com and our proxy website, sheeatikavote.com.   The sheeatika.com website is operational on a 24/7 basis, while the  sheeatikavote.com is operational during the period prior to an official shareholder meeting.

Further, if Facebook pages and other social media sites are used in the proxy solicitation of the shareholders of an ANCSA corporation such as Shee Atiká, such proxy solicitation is subject to regulation by the Alaska Division of Banking & Securities.  The State applies a very broad definition of what constitutes proxy solicitation, and in appropriate cases, the State will issue Cease and Desist orders directed to those who maintain or post comments upon such sites.

The following is a quote from the State of Alaska, Division of Banking & Securities website, “The Alaska statutes and regulations relating to ANCSA corporations and shareholders are intended to promote transparency in the solicitation process and the fairness of elections.  They are also intended to help protect shareholders and corporations from unscrupulous individuals.”
