Earlier this year, Francine Eddy Jones announced her plans to retire from the Shee Atiká Board of Directors after a suitable replacement was selected. At its meeting on October 16, 2017, the Shee Atiká Board, including Francine Eddy Jones, voted unanimously to appoint James Craig to complete the remainder of Francine’s term (thru 2019).
Francine has served as a Director since 1995. Her experience, knowledge and insight will be missed in the boardroom. The Board thanks her for her many years of service to the shareholders.
Francine is Eagle/Wolf of the Yanyeidi Clan of the Taku Tlingit people, born and raised in Sitka. She is the daughter of the late Florence and Francis Eddy. Francine and her husband Laird are the proud parents of their son, Justin.
In 1997, Francine graduated with a Master’s Degree from the University of Utah Graduate School of Social Work. Since 1995 Francine has been the Director of the Central Council Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska Tribal Family & Youth Services Department in Juneau, Alaska.
