Alaska Northstar Resources Awarded 2 Contracts

Alaska Northstar Resources, LLC (ANR) is pleased to announce it was awarded a 3-Year, $9.2M contract by the United States Air Force (USAF) Business Enterprise Systems (BES) directorate to provide Cloud System and Database Administration Gap Support Services to applications falling under the Enterprise Logistics System Division (HI4) portfolio.  ANR will provide day-to-day cloud engineering support for multiple logistics applications as they operate in, and migrate to, the Air Force Cloud One environment.  ANR will additionally be providing education and training support to BES HI4 Government personnel regarding topics to include integrating to Cloud One, using Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, and DevSecOps concepts and execution.

Additionally, ANR was awarded a one-year, $7.9M software development contract with the United States Air Force within the Air Education and Training Command’s (AETC) Total Force Training Record (TFTR) system.  Alaska Northstar Resources will be providing software development support and technical expertise to AETC to develop TFTR and migrate data from pre-existing Air Force training systems into the finalized system.   TFTR will serve as the system of record to track individual Air Force member’s training activities.   The primary work will be performed at Joint Base San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.  “This is an exciting opportunity for ANR that will continue to build our software development qualifications, and it provides an excellent gateway to future opportunities in the Joint Base Antonio Area,” said Tim Castro, President of Alaska Northstar Resources.  Performance of the TFTR contract began on 30 July 2020.
