Message from the Chair

Thank you to everyone who joined us in-person and via live stream for the Annual Meeting of Shareholders in May. Immediately following the board of director elections at the annual meeting, we held the annual re-organization meeting to elect board officers to serve the roles of chair, vice-chair, treasurer, and secretary. The officers elected are committed to serving a one-year term in their roles to build on the growth and stability initiated by the previous officers. 

Our government contracting companies continue to deliver results and revenue for our corporation. Shee Atiká Government Services, a holding line for our subsidiaries, is an important part in our growth plan for government contracting. This team provides strategic oversight and shared services such as human resources, security clearances, IT support, marketing, and business development. We are excited for the upcoming opportunities and recent contract awards, including more than $45 million in new work awarded to our IT company, Alaska Northstar Resources.

In case you haven’t heard, we’re hosting four in-person Shareholder Information Meetings this fall in Juneau, AK; Sitka, AK; Anchorage, AK; and Seattle, WA. We believe getting back to in-person Shareholder Information Meetings will greatly enhance the connection between shareholders, board, and staff. Keep an eye out in your mailbox for a “save the date” postcard as well.
